We welcome every memory of, anecdote about or photograph of Paradiso. Were you there at a legendary performance? Or did you meet the love of your life in Paradiso? Maybe you performed on stage yourself? Or you work(ed) at Paradiso? Send us your story! An editorial staff from the Amsterdam Museum and Paradiso will review all submissions place those selected. Visual material is extremeley welcome, but please take into account you must own the rights to publish them online.

There are two ways to submit your story:
1. Send your contribution to geheugenvancentrum@amsterdammuseum.nl
2. Create an account on Memory of Amsterdam and select ‘write a story’. The editors will always first review your story. This option is only available in Dutch.
Memory of Amsterdam Centre
The Memory of Amsterdam Centre is part of the Memory of Amsterdam: a platform on which the Amsterdam Museum compiles personal stories, photographs and memories about Amsterdam selected according to neighbourhoods. Furthermore, the Amsterdam Museum will also share the Memory of Paradiso on various online channels and social media. Paradiso too will feature the stories placed on Memory of Amsterdam Centre. 50 Years of Paradiso: the Exhibition
The stories have been compiled together with Paradiso to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Amsterdam pop temple’s existence. But that is not all: the exhibition 50 Years of Paradiso will be on display in the Amsterdam Museum from 29 March through 19 August 2018. In addition, Paradiso itself will be devoting attention to its birthday all year long with special programming. The aim is to retain and add to the stories once the exhibition has ended.
